Gray Barnwood obtains it's color from years of UV exposure in the sun. It is typically reclaimed from fencing and the outside siding of structures. The same wood was also used inside structures, but doesn't turn gray because it does not receive the same exposure to UV rays. Using a mix of inside and outside planks in varying widths creates a pattern sure to please.
